Next Games publishes information on The Walking Dead: Our World game's development during Q3 in conjunction with investor meetings

Next Games Corp. organizes investor meetings starting from 26th September, during which the company discloses information on The Walking Dead: Our World game's development during the ongoing third quarter after the game's launch on 12 July.

Next Games' third quarter 2018 started with the global launch of the innovative The Walking Dead: Our World game, based on AMC's television series. The company made significant marketing investments on a global scale, and specifically in the game's main markets, the US and the largest markets in Europe, in pursuit of significant revenue growth. During the first weeks following the launch, the game achieved top 50 grossing list ranking (lists measuring game revenue) in multiple markets, thus Next Games is pleased with the game's initial performance.

The Walking Dead: Our World is a technically-complex, cutting-edge location and augmented reality mobile product combined with an innovative gameplay mechanic. As a result of the game's early success, we encountered intermittent technical challenges due to the growing number of simultaneous players. This impacted negatively some players' experience, and had a temporary effect on the game's key performance metrics. As a consequence, the company elected to scale back the game's marketing investment while the technical challenges were addressed. The company has worked over the past few weeks to resolve the challenges, and is confident in the game's ability to scale going forward.

The company's view of the game's strong monetization potential remains unchanged. The company plans to scale up marketing and user acquisition investment during the days ahead of The Walking Dead Season 9 global premiere on October 7, 2018. We will also continue to bring new features and content to the game according to plan.

The company's other live game's, The Walking Dead: No Man's Land, revenue has remained on a level customary to the product. The game based on the Blade Runner movie franchise is in technical soft launch on one market, and the game project in collaboration with NBCUniversal has moved to production. In addition the company has another game in development with a yet unannounced license partner.
